Do you need food?

Food security means that people have access, at all times, to enough nutritious food for an active, healthy life.  If your income has been depressed for any reason, you may be shorthanded when it comes to buying groceries.

“You need not do without food,” says Sally Dittman.  “We can help.”

Dittman is working with Our Lady’s Pantry in trying to identify seniors in Sun City Center, who can use some groceries, but are reluctant to come forward.

“We know there are individuals out there who do not have sufficient food to maintain good health,” she says.  “We just cannot find them.”

If you, or a neighbor, or relative, or someone from your Church or club ¾ can use some groceries, Dittman asks you to please call her, so she can help you or your acquaintance get registered at the Pantry.  Our Lady’s Pantry provides huge boxes of food to families twice a month.  You can call Dittman at:  (813) 633-4647, or email her at:  Sarahandsal123@gmail.com

“Please contact me so I can help you get started,” says Dittman.  “I met one woman recently, who said it was humbling to have to admit that she was in need of help after a lifetime of being independent.  But that’s why we are here!

“I look forward to hearing from one one day soon.”

You can also register yourself at the Pantry any Saturday morning between 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  The Pantry is located at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Migrant Mission at 16650 U.S. Highway 301 South; Wimauma.  We are in front of the classroom building on the far right-hand corner of the mission campus.  www.OurLadysPantry.com
